In response to the surge of anti-Semitism over the past few weeks, the Simon Wiesenthal Center has just:
• Participated in a White House briefing on Hate Crimes addressing anti-Semitism and included officials from the White House, the Department of Justice and Homeland Security
• Launched a petition calling on elected government officials and leaders of corporate America to immediately act by strengthening hate crimes statutes for hate crimes perpetrated against any race, religion, or ethnicity
• Demanded that all social media platforms remove the genocide-seeking Ayatollah Khamenei and all those posting violent hate crimes against Jews, Asians and all other minorities.
• Organized a unity rally with over 30 partner organizations and 4,000 people, including elected officials, to rally against anti-Semitism and stand in solidarity with NY attack victim Joseph Borgen to denounce anti-Semitic violence
